A Journey of Togetherness: Unforgettable Adventure from Sasan Gir to Diu

Our adventure began on June 21st, 2024, as 17 of us embarked on an exciting three-day trip from Ahmedabad to Sasan Gir and Diu. The trip was filled with memorable experiences, laughter, and bonding that will forever remain close to our hearts.

Day 1: Arrival at Gir Vihar Resort, Sasan Gir

Morning Fun with Cricket, Swimming, and Rain Dance

After a night’s journey, we arrived at Gir Vihar Resort, Sasan Gir, just in time for breakfast. The morning unfolded with a fun-filled cricket match and swimming, where even those who were initially afraid of the water joined in, thanks to encouragement from the group. The rain dance with light music added a magical touch to the day, making it even more special.

High Tea and African Dance Performance

After resting in cozy cottages and enjoying high tea, we set out towards Devaliya Park but eventually returned to the resort. There, we were treated to a vibrant African dance performance that entertained and fascinated everyone.

Day 2: Devaliya Park and Diu Exploration

Our second day started with an exciting visit to Devaliya Park, where we witnessed lions and their families up close. It was an awe-inspiring experience that gave us a deep appreciation for nature.

Visit to Mr. Haresh’s Factory and Arrival at Praveg Resort, Diu

We then visited Mr. Haresh’s milk cake factory, learning about the traditional process of making this sweet delight. Afterward, we arrived at Praveg Resort, Diu, where the breathtaking sea view greeted us, making the afternoon swim even more refreshing.

Day 3: Spiritual Reflection and Journey Back to Ahmedabad

Yoga, Somnath Temple, and Spiritual Prayers

Our final day began with a serene yoga session followed by breakfast. We visited the Somnath Temple in the evening, where we prayed together, reflecting on the spiritual beauty of the place.

A Memorable Return with Dinner at Maldhari Restaurant

On our way back to Ahmedabad, we stopped for dinner at Maldhari Restaurant, savoring the flavors of Gujarat. It was the perfect end to an unforgettable trip.
